MAGMA Appoints Maha Imazitene as New CEO, Effective June 15, 2026

Moncton, NB – May 2026 – The Board of Directors of the Multicultural Agency of the Greater Moncton Area (MAGMA) are pleased to announce the appointment of Maha Imazitene as the new CEO, effective June 15, 2026. 

Maha brings direct executive-level experience in the settlement sector, having served as Executive Director of a newcomer-serving agency where she led the delivery of IRCC-funded programming, worked with the local immigration partnerships and engaged employers in supporting newcomer workforce integration. In addition to her settlement sector leadership, Maha has held senior roles across innovation, education, and international business sectors, including Director of Research Programs at ResearchNB, where she oversaw provincial research investments and led strategic program development, and leadership roles with Springboard Atlantic and Pearson Global English.

After nearly five years of leading a highly successful transformation of MAGMA, current CEO, Ron Gaudet has decided to move on to other opportunities.
