National Volunteer Week Tri-Community Breakfast Event 2026

On April 24, during the National Volunteer Week Tri-Community Breakfast Event 2026, MAGMA volunteers were recognized for their outstanding work and unwavering dedication to the Greater Moncton community.

As a meaningful token of appreciation, the Volunteer Centre thanked MAGMA and its volunteers for their valuable contributions, including the sharing of impactful videos that highlight their efforts.

On April 17, MAGMA hosted a Cycle Fit Session for newcomer women at the YMCA of Greater Moncton, creating an inspiring and energizing start to the day. This initiative brought together a diverse group of women to stay active, support one another, and build meaningful connections—highlighting the power of shared wellness experiences. 🚲💪

MAGMA Professional Networking Event 2026

On March 26, MAGMA proudly hosted its Professional Networking Event 2026, which proved to be a great success. The event provided participants with valuable opportunities to connect with local employers, explore various booths, and gain meaningful insights to support their job search journey.

Attendees benefited from personalized guidance, including résumé reviews, career advice, and information on volunteering and internship opportunities—helping them take informed steps toward their professional goals.

We recognize that job searching can sometimes be challenging and even discouraging. This event was a humble initiative by MAGMA to offer guidance, encouragement, and meaningful support to our community every step of the way. 💼✨

Start & Grow Your Business Workshop

On March 31, MAGMA, in collaboration with the YWCA, hosted an engaging workshop on the theme Start & Grow Your Business. The session offered aspiring entrepreneurs a valuable opportunity to learn practical strategies for building and strengthening their ventures.

Participants explored key topics such as setting the right pricing and effectively structuring their businesses, gaining insights to support their entrepreneurial journey.

It was an inspiring and informative experience, filled with meaningful discussions, learning, and connection.

Inspiring Innovation at Venn Innovation

On March 28, 2026, MAGMA was proud to participate as a community partner at the VIP speech event hosted by Venn Innovation. Our volunteers were actively engaged, contributing their time and energy in support of this inspiring initiative.

The event showcased outstanding pitches, with bold ideas and confident founders taking the stage. The energy in the room was truly remarkable, making it a memorable and motivating experience for everyone involved.

Cooking Together: Building Community Through Culture

On March 24, 2026, MAGMA’s Community Connection team hosted Cooking Together, a heartwarming activity that brought together six incredible women from different countries to share recipes, stories, and culture.

One participant, originally from Chad, introduced a traditional dish from her home country—creating a truly meaningful moment that fostered connection and brought everyone closer together.

More than just a cooking class, this initiative was about building community and creating a sense of belonging and home.

March Break and a time change? We handled it! 🙂 MAGMA’s Community Connections team had an incredible week filled with fun, learning, and many new connections.

From engaging STEM activities led by the Promise Partnership to an unforgettable game day experience with the Wildcats, the week was packed with exciting opportunities for families to learn, explore, and enjoy time together.
