International Volunteer Day Celebration

Recognized by the United Nations as a day to celebrate volunteers around the world, the International Volunteer Day takes place on December 5th every year. It is an occasion to celebrate the passion and commitment of individuals who choose to give back to their community by dedicating their time, sharing the skills and knowledge, and a unique passion for making this world, our world, a better place.

And last week, MAGMA held its first International Volunteer Day event to celebrate its volunteers, their commitment and passion and recognize their work, passion and dedication which continue to be key in supporting newcomers on their settlement and integration journey. Together, we continue to build stronger communities.

Thank you to all those who attended the event; shared their experience and stories, and most importantly, to all the volunteers out there who use their time, talent and passion to make this world a better place. We are grateful for all you do.
